Art Exhibition

Wow! The art exhibition was amazing. We went for a look at all the awesome artwork contributed by the school and some local artists and stumbled upon some fantastic Monet inspired pieces by Room 2. A great way to spend our Friday morning.

Claude Monet Art

Room 2 are busy learning about Claude Monet and reproducing some of his beautiful

 'Water Lilly' art.

Measuring in Maths

Mrs Pahl has been busy teaching measurement in Room 2

Guess who is the tallest and who is the shortest and who comes in between.

Our tallest children were 1m 20cm tall - wow!

Room 2 were so lucky today as we had 9 

Room 11 and 12 students come and listen to the Room 2 children read.  

We loved having the seniors to read to and we loved when they read to us as well.

Photography competition

Well done to Room 2 for taking some fabulous photos over several weeks

*We learned how to handle a camera carefully and safely by always using the wrist strap and being very careful when handling it, especially being careful with the lens by making sure it is closed when we are moving around.  

*We also learned about using the shutter button to achieve an in-focus photograph.
