Anzac activities

Humpty Dumpty

We have learned a few skills here including cutting, dying on wet strength cartridge with crayon resist, and folding paper to create a zigzag.

 Look below the Humpties and see one of our brand new heaters. We will be toasty and warm this winter! I wonder what colour the new paint will be. We will find out after the holidays.

Collage Portraits

We are learning to add detail when we draw our self portraits and to use the full size of the paper.
We are also learning to tear small pieces of paper to glue on.

Ukelele

We are learning how to play one chord on the ukelele and strum.
See if we can remember to hold the ukelele body against our tummy, put our thumb on the velcro dot and our finger on the number one. Then see if we can strum in time.

Crab art

We looked at some crab pictures and read a story about a crab. Here we are doing our sharpie and dye pictures.

Tiddler Art

We read Julia Donaldson's book about Tiddler the little fish who was always late and made up tall tales. Here are our pictures of Tiddler.
